Masterclass with Jimmy Jenkins (In-Person + Virtual)
If you've ever wondered what it's like to create a film, and take it to streamers, the box office, or to TV— This class is for you.
Filmmaker, Director, and Writer Jimmy Jenkins is teaching us the biggest lessons he has learned about bringing a film from idea form to the big screens. The DMV Native is the son of Pastor John K. Jenkins of FBCG in PG County, MD, and his love for filmmaking started in the church. Later, his gifts would take him to BET, Tyler Perry studios, and eventually in a director’s chair of his own.
Now, his new film, "God With Us," is about to be in theaters all across the country on Nov. 13th. Before it lands on the big screen, he will take us through a few exclusive clips.
We can't wait to gather, worship, and sharpen our gifts together on a good DC Sunday Afternoon. Live-streaming will be available inside the community, but we’d love to see you in person to gather with fellow creatives!
